Synopsis

Once upon a time, four trees grew around a lake. The youngest tree was the most popular with visitors, because of its cooling shade and the delicious fruits it produced. Jealous, the other trees conspired to create a blockade that will starve the young tree of water– but they neglected to recognise that there are other ways of finding energy and continuing life. ‘The Noble Tree’ is a lovely parable that warns of the foolishness of isolationism and bullying.
